Computer Systems Engineer

The Position
Haber Technologies, Inc. is looking to recruit a Computer Systems Engineer to serve as a leader to a team of software developers to develop software solutions for automated applications and mechanical solutions in the field of agriculture.The engineer will participate in an agile development cycle, mainly as a scrum master and project manager, but will be required to develop software and/or hardware if necessary. They will also be tasked with deploying that technology using the various tools provided. In addition, the engineer will be used as a consultant by other software developers to assist them in finding solutions, as well as put together presentations to explain technical details to non-technical personnel. Lastly, They will participate in the buildup of systems in various domains, that of software applications, processes within a Linux OS that communicate over a network to a variety of other systems, in addition to having a basic understanding of how the circuitry and hardware systems are also built. The position is located in Ames, IA and is On-Site requiring the engineer to be present. See below for the pre-requisites:
Basic Requirements
- Must at-least have 1 year of professional experience or more in developing .NET solutions
- Must at-least have 1 year of professional experience in embedded systems programming in C, including knowledge in protocols such as CAN, I2C, UART, etc. Must also have knowledge of bootloaders
- Must at-least have 1 years of professional experience in using the Linux Environment
- At-least 1 year of experience with web app frameworks such as Django, Flask, ASP.NET MVC framework
- Must have at least 1 years of experience in utilizing the Microsoft Azure cloud to solve problems
- Must be knowledgeable in utilizing the Azure IoT Hub/Azure IoT Edge resource on the Microsoft Azure Cloud
- At-least 1 years of experience working with OpenSource Gateway Interfaces such as Everywhere Software Framework and demonstrate proficiency
- At-least 1 years of experience using IT-At-Scale solutions such as Ansible
- At-least 1 years of professional experience working with Dockerized applications, as well as containerizing them
- At-least 1 years of experience of frontend development framework React-JS
- Must have at-least 2 years worth of experience in working in an Agile work environment, the management thereof, as well as the ability to juggle tasks and dish them out to peers
Compensation
- Full-time salaried position starting at $57,034 a year
